The #1 misconception is : a Will must be written by a lawyer. The requirements of a valid Will are set out in the Wills Act and it is not a requirement that a will must be done by a lawyer. Some even think that a will must be stamped and sealed before it is a valid will.
In fact, anyone of us can write our own will following the requirement and format provided in books, journeys or website.
